Warranty & Repair Policy
Luxury Souq Watches Trading (“Luxury Souq”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to providing professionally verified luxury watches and after-sales support services in accordance with the following Warranty & Repair Policy.
By purchasing, servicing, submitting, or repairing any watch or jewellery item through Luxury Souq Watches Trading, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Warranty & Repair Policy in full.
1. General Disclaimer
Luxury Souq Watches Trading is an independent luxury watch dealer and is not an authorised dealer, distributor, or representative of any watch manufacturer unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
Manufacturer warranties, where applicable, remain subject solely to the terms and conditions of the respective manufacturer.
Luxury Souq Watches Trading does not guarantee the availability, transferability, validity, or remaining duration of any manufacturer warranty unless expressly confirmed in writing.
2. Pre-Owned Watch Disclosure
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
- All watches sold by Luxury Souq Watches Trading are pre-owned.
- Watches may contain manufacturer replacement parts installed during prior servicing.
- Watches may show signs of wear consistent with age and prior use.
- Polishing, refinishing, restoration, or cosmetic improvements may have been performed previously.
Vintage, discontinued, rare, collector, or highly specialised watches may not meet modern manufacturer specifications for water resistance, timing accuracy, power reserve, luminosity, or component tolerances.
3. Warranty Coverage
Where a written Luxury Souq warranty is specifically provided, coverage shall apply solely to internal mechanical movement defects, workmanship defects confirmed by the Company, and repair work performed directly by Luxury Souq Watches Trading.
Warranty coverage applies only during the stated warranty period specified on the invoice or warranty documentation.
Luxury Souq Watches Trading reserves the sole right to determine warranty eligibility, defect classification, repair methodology, replacement decisions, and service requirements.
4. Warranty Exclusions
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, warranty coverage does not include:
- Accidental damage, physical impact damage, misuse, or neglect
- Theft or loss
- Cosmetic wear, scratches, dents, bracelet or strap wear
- Water damage, moisture ingress, or magnetic exposure
- Over-winding, improper handling, or improper storage
- Unauthorised repairs, unauthorised opening of the watch, or aftermarket modifications
- Polishing damage, cracked crystals, or crown damage
- Damage caused by external force or failure to follow manufacturer guidelines
Water resistance is never permanently guaranteed and may naturally deteriorate over time due to gasket ageing, impact, usage conditions, or environmental exposure. Luxury Souq Watches Trading strongly recommends periodic pressure testing for any watch exposed to water.
5. Repair Procedures
All repair requests must be submitted directly to Luxury Souq Watches Trading for assessment. The Company reserves the right to inspect the watch internally and externally, open the caseback, conduct movement diagnostics, photograph and document the watch, refuse repair requests, or outsource specialised repairs where necessary.
Repair timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Repair duration may vary depending on parts availability, manufacturer delays, technical complexity, international sourcing, shipping delays, and supplier response times. Luxury Souq Watches Trading shall not be liable for delays beyond its reasonable control.
6. Parts & Components
Luxury Souq Watches Trading does not guarantee availability of original manufacturer parts, discontinued components, matching patina, exact cosmetic consistency, restoration outcomes, or preservation of collector value.
Where original parts are unavailable, the Company may use compatible replacement parts, refurbished components, or supplier-approved alternatives where commercially reasonable and technically appropriate.
The customer authorises the Company to make reasonable servicing decisions necessary for the repair process unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Water Resistance Disclaimer
Luxury Souq Watches Trading does not guarantee permanent water resistance under any circumstances. Water resistance performance may be affected by prior servicing history, age, impact, improper use, gasket condition, external wear, or environmental exposure.
Following any repair or servicing, water resistance may differ from original manufacturer specifications. Customers remain solely responsible for avoiding exposure beyond the watch’s tested limitations.
8. Shipping & Transfer Risk
Customers sending watches or jewellery to Luxury Souq Watches Trading remain fully responsible for packaging, insurance, courier selection, tracking, customs compliance, import/export procedures, and shipping-related risks.
Risk of loss or damage remains with the customer until physical receipt and acceptance by Luxury Souq Watches Trading. The Company shall not be liable for courier delays, lost shipments, customs seizures, transportation damage, insufficient insurance coverage, or shipping disputes.
9. Fraud Prevention & Authentication
Luxury Souq Watches Trading maintains strict anti-fraud and authentication procedures. All serviced watches may be documented through serial number recording, movement verification, condition imaging, repair documentation, and internal inspection records.
Any watch suspected of counterfeit activity, unauthorised modifications, altered serial numbers, stolen property, fraudulent ownership, or illegal origin may result in refusal of service, cancellation of warranty, reporting to authorities, or legal action where applicable.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Luxury Souq Watches Trading shall not be liable for indirect damages, consequential losses, collector value fluctuations, loss of market value, missed events, emotional distress, timing deviations, cosmetic differences, restoration dissatisfaction, third-party supplier delays, or courier incidents.
In all circumstances, the Company’s maximum liability relating to any watch, repair, or warranty claim shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for the relevant repair service or watch purchase.
11. Right to Refuse Service
Luxury Souq Watches Trading reserves the absolute right to refuse repairs, refuse warranty claims, decline servicing, reject transactions, cancel repair intake, or refuse future business where the Company reasonably believes fraud risk exists, counterfeit activity is suspected, abusive conduct occurs, compliance concerns arise, or servicing may create unreasonable liability or reputational risk.
12. Governing Law
This Warranty & Repair Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute arising from this Policy shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Dubai.
