Vacheron Constantin’s Overseas collection is already known as one of the finest examples of a luxury sports watch, but when you add a perpetual calendar to the mix, the result is something truly special. The new Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin in Pink Gold (4300V/220R-H144) and White Gold (4300V/220G-H151) show just how far the brand can push the balance between elegance, complexity, and everyday wear.
Both versions share the same impressive build: a 41.5mm case with a very slim 8.1mm thickness. Inside is the in-house Calibre 1120 QP/1, an automatic movement that has long been a showcase of Vacheron’s technical skills. With a 40-hour power reserve, and a frequency of 19,800 vibrations per hour, it manages to run a perpetual calendar that keeps track of the day, date, month, leap year, and moon phase—all correctly until the year 2100. In other words, this is a watch designed to outlast generations.
The movement is certified with the Geneva Seal, a mark of both precision and fine finishing, and can be admired through the sapphire caseback. The watch is also practical enough for daily life, with 50 meters of water resistance and Vacheron’s clever Easy-fit system, which makes swapping straps quick and simple.
Pink Gold Ref. 4300V/220R-H144 – Classic and Refined
The Pink Gold version is all about timeless beauty. The 18K 5N Pink Gold case and bracelet shine warmly, while the gold-toned sunburst dial blends perfectly with the case for a monochrome effect. The moonphase follows the same theme, with a golden moon set against a matching background, keeping the look clean and harmonious. While the bracelet alone gives the watch a rich, formal presence, Vacheron also includes two rubber straps in white and blue, both fitted with a pink gold clasp. With the Easy-fit system, the watch can quickly shift from a formal piece to something more casual, showing its versatility without losing its luxury feel.
White Gold Ref. 4300V/220G-H151 – Bold and Modern
The White Gold model takes a different path, standing out with its burgundy sunburst dial. The deep red color is paired with a velvet-textured minute track, white counters, and gold markers filled with blue SuperLuminova, creating a striking contrast. It feels modern, energetic, and instantly eye-catching. The moonphase here adds even more character, featuring a star-filled night sky with two golden moons—a detail that feels both artistic and technical. Like its Pink Gold sibling, the watch comes with two rubber straps, this time in white and burgundy, alongside the full white gold bracelet. The burgundy strap, especially, highlights the bold character of this version.
