Trade-In & Sell Your Watch

Luxury Souq Watches Trading (“Luxury Souq”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) may, at its sole discretion, offer customers the ability to sell, consign, exchange, or trade luxury watches through the Company.

By submitting, offering, shipping, consigning, or trading a watch to Luxury Souq Watches Trading, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions.

1. Ownership & Legal Title

By offering any watch to Luxury Souq Watches Trading, the customer represents and warrants that they are the lawful owner of the watch, the watch is authentic, free from liens, disputes, financing obligations, theft claims, encumbrances, or legal restrictions, and that they possess full legal authority to sell, consign, or transfer the watch.

Luxury Souq Watches Trading reserves the right to request proof of ownership, purchase invoices, warranty cards, identification documents, proof of payment, KYC documentation, and additional verification documents. The Company reserves the absolute right to reject any transaction without explanation.

2. Authentication & Verification

All watches submitted to Luxury Souq Watches Trading are subject to authentication inspection, serial number verification, movement verification, condition inspection, anti-fraud review, ownership verification, and compliance screening.

Luxury Souq Watches Trading reserves the right to open the watch case, inspect internal components, verify movement authenticity, photograph and document the watch, and conduct third-party verification.

Any watch suspected of counterfeit activity, tampering, stolen property, unauthorised modification, part replacement fraud, serial number alteration, or illegal ownership may be reported to law enforcement authorities, payment processors, insurance companies, regulatory authorities, or relevant brand representatives where legally required.

3. Quotations & Market Valuation

Any valuation, quotation, estimate, or offer provided by Luxury Souq Watches Trading is non-binding until final physical inspection and may change based on condition verification, market fluctuations, or compliance review.

Luxury watch values are highly volatile and subject to international market pricing, collector demand, supplier conditions, rarity, exchange rates, and economic conditions. Luxury Souq Watches Trading shall not be liable for changes in market value before completion of the transaction.

4. Trade-In Transactions

Trade-in values are determined solely at the discretion of Luxury Souq Watches Trading. Where a customer trades a watch toward another purchase, additional payment may be required and valuations may be revised after inspection.

Luxury Souq Watches Trading reserves the right to reverse or cancel any trade transaction if fraud is suspected, the watch fails authentication, undisclosed defects are identified, ownership concerns arise, or transaction irregularities exist.

5. Consignment Transactions

For consignment transactions, ownership of the watch remains with the consignor until sold and Luxury Souq Watches Trading acts solely as an intermediary seller unless otherwise agreed in writing. Sale timelines and minimum selling prices are not guaranteed.

Luxury Souq Watches Trading reserves the right to refuse, remove, suspend, or cancel any consignment listing at any time.

6. Payment Terms

Payments for purchased watches may be made through bank transfer, approved payment methods, store credit, trade adjustment, or mutually agreed settlement arrangements.

Luxury Souq Watches Trading reserves the right to delay payment, withhold payment, suspend transactions, or request additional verification where fraud concerns, ownership verification issues, authentication review, or compliance review remain pending. Payment timelines may vary depending on banking procedures, international transfer processing, compliance checks, and fraud prevention review.

7. Shipping & Transfer Risk

Customers sending watches to Luxury Souq Watches Trading remain fully responsible for shipping arrangements, packaging, insurance, courier selection, tracking, customs compliance, and import/export regulations.

Risk of loss or damage remains with the customer until physical receipt and acceptance by Luxury Souq Watches Trading. The Company shall not be liable for lost shipments, customs seizures, courier delays, transportation damage, insufficient insurance coverage, or shipping-related disputes.

8. Fraud Prevention & Legal Rights

Luxury Souq Watches Trading maintains strict anti-fraud procedures. Any attempt involving counterfeit watches, stolen property, fraudulent documentation, chargeback abuse, identity fraud, undisclosed modifications, part swapping, or forged paperwork may result in immediate cancellation, confiscation where legally required, refusal of return, civil legal action, criminal complaint filings, or reporting to authorities.

Luxury Souq Watches Trading reserves all legal rights and remedies available under applicable law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Luxury Souq Watches Trading shall not be liable for market losses, valuation disagreements, failed sales, delayed sales, unrealised profits, collector value fluctuations, indirect damages, consequential losses, third-party actions, or courier-related incidents. In all circumstances, the Company’s total liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the Company in relation to the relevant transaction.

10. Right to Refuse

Luxury Souq Watches Trading reserves the absolute right to refuse any watch, reject any seller, cancel negotiations, suspend transactions, decline payment, or refuse future business at its sole discretion and without obligation to provide justification.

11. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute arising from this Policy shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Dubai.
